  I have been a frequent customer at Abbey Ann's for years at the East Cuyahoga Falls Ave. store. I went to the State Road location for the first time this week and paid for a dresser ($80). My husband went to pick it up today, and as he was loading it onto his truck, it was in bad enough condition that it started breaking apart. He asked for a refund, and was told they only give store credit. The older woman who was working there was nice, he was polite to her, everything seemed fine. I said that was fine, I'll head to the store to pick out a new dresser. In the meantime, the older woman's son came out to where my husband was waiting for me, parked with the truck we rented. The son started yelling at him, telling him he broke the dresser and gave his mother "trouble," and that he was going to call the police to remove him from the property. He then brought my husband cash and a receipt, even though we'd agreed to store credit. By the time I got to the store, my husband had left for fear of getting the cops called on him for waiting for me. AWFUL. Do not go there.
